Established in 1997, Indian Homoeo Vet Pharmaceuticals (IHVP) is a pioneering organization dedicated to advancing veterinary homeopathy in India. The foundation of our philosophy traces back to the inspiring legacy of Dr Jai Prakash Goel (28 December 1932 – 6 July 2002), a compassionate homeopath who believed in empathy and service to all living beings as his life’s mantra.
Dr. Jai Prakash Goel received his registration to practice homeopathy in 1955 from Lucknow, becoming one of the few registered homeopaths in post-independent India. Serving farmers across Northern India, he not only treated people but also listened to their concerns regarding livestock health. Coming from a rural background, he began prescribing homeopathic medicines for diseased cattle and observed remarkable results—even in cases considered incurable. In 1975, the seed of Veterinary Homeopathy was sown, making him one of the earliest practitioners of homeopathic veterinary care in India.
Carrying forward this noble vision, Dr Praveen Kumar Goel, a successful homeopath and innovator, founded IHVP in 1997. Inspired by his father’s work, he developed specialized homeopathic formulations for animals after successfully treating similar conditions in humans. His mission was to provide safe, effective, and affordable solutions for animal healthcare.
Dr. Praveen Kumar Goel was strongly supported by his wife, Dr Indu Goel, who is also a homeopath. Together, they conducted extensive trials on various animal diseases and achieved encouraging results. These medicines soon gained popularity in villages and towns across Uttar Pradesh and other regions, marking a new chapter in homeopathic veterinary care in India.
One of our well-known formulations, Femocure, is often used alongside other medicines to support faster recovery from respiratory diseases in animals.
At IHVP, we remain deeply connected to the roots of Bharat—serving villages, towns, and underserved areas with ethical practices and indigenous innovation. Our products are designed to be affordable and result-oriented, especially for farmers and caregivers who depend on livestock for their livelihood.
We believe in a “Result-Driven Approach” rather than a “Market-Driven Approach”, ensuring that compassion, care, and effectiveness remain at the heart of everything we do.
